Atlas is currently progressing through engineering development, research collaboration and early partner engagement. The goal is to validate the system responsibly in humanitarian operations before expanding into commercial industries such as mining and agriculture, and eventually supporting remote and off-world exploration.

His background includes geographic information systems, space and robotics projects, public engagement and community organisations. Hyperion Automata reflects his goal of building technology that produces practical and lasting social value.
